Description
Walk. Give. Change the world.
Your Hosts: St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Londonderry, United Methodist Church, Londonderry First Congregational Church, Manchester and the Deerfield Community Church.
Registration: 12:30 p.m. at Londonderry United Methodist Church at the corner of Pillsbury Road and Mammoth Road, Londonderry NH. Walk starts at 1:00 p.m. All walkers must register and sign a liability waiver. Adults must sign waivers for minor children and walk with them.
Full Walk: A 3 mile walk is being planned starting and ending at the Moose Hill School in Londonderry. Route Map will be available day of walk and in advance at Recruiter’s Rally. This route makes use of pavement and flat dirt trails. Refreshments following the walk at Londonderry United Methodist Church.
Paved Walk option: This will start at Moose Hill School and proceed north on Mammoth Rd. to Middle School and return back to Moose Hill. This shorter walk is on all pavement and is approximately 2 miles.
Before The Walk: Begin getting sponsors now! Invite friends, relatives, neighbors, business associates and anyone concerned about hunger that will support your participation in the walk.
The Upper Room's Food Pantry in Derry will again be one of the local recipients of this year's walk.
Strollers, Wheelchairs, wagons welcome for Short Walk option. Bikes, roller blades, skate boards are not allowed.
